Vand Vand: do not try to understand the meaning of their name but instead look at what lies behind. Take a look at R-Ash, twenty three years old yet more than half his life spent behind turntables. He got into scratch, keeps both feet in Hip Hop and has a head turned towards electronic music. Multiple DMC champion, he has twelve years of experience and even more years with his partner in crime Silent. With one hand on the turntables and the other on a synthesizer, beware of stillwaters because this one allies sharp notes and hard-hitting drums. He too started with scratch, turning quickly to his own productions: this year marks the release of his maxi 'Vandito'. The fruit of their collaboration is called 'Oh My Vand' - their mixtape with which they will well hose 2009. Their maxi 'Screamy Palmer' is the next leg of their long journey, but as before they risk to be part of your good memories and often thought of by way of their strategic DJ sets. It is a matter of time before noise, real noise, finally re-asserts its rights.
